I always get nervous when my girlfriend starts posing hypothetical computer questions. You know the kind of thing; “Is it possible to rob a bank without ever leaving your study?” “Can we disrupt all the red diesel UK deliveries via computer?” “Can we take over US and Russian weapons systems by playing noughts and crosses on your laptop?” Actually, she’s never asked the last one, but seeing as she’s never seen the sublime ’War Games’I’m not that surprised. In fact, knowing that she hasn’t seen ’War Games’before, I’d be pretty terrified if she did ask me that one!
